Eddie Montgomery wins Gold and Platinum awards

Last week, the Recording Industry Association of America surprised Eddie Montgomery and plaques commemorating his platinum album “Something To Be Proud Of” and gold albums “Hell Yeah” and “My Town”. The award is presented by the RIAA Erin DD Bull and Jackie Jones with Gentry’s wife Angie and red light management Brian Frasher and Fletcher Lyon.

The honor was presented during a special event, “Montgomery Gentry Featuring Eddie Montgomery: Celebrating 25 Years,” hosted by 3rd & Lindsley, with special guests Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Allie Colleen and Ira Dean.

Riley Green donates to Fold of Honor

Riley Green Captained the first aid team to victory in the Jock N Rock Celebrity Softball Game at the Tennessee Fold of Honor. To celebrate his team’s victory, Green surprised everyone by donating $50,000 from his Buford Bonds charitable foundation to Folds of Honor.

Folds of Honor provides life-changing scholarships to families of fallen or disabled service members and first responders.

“I’ve gotten to know Connor over the past few years and his talent, attitude and drive showed us what it takes to join us,” said Marathon. Craig Campbell. “His performance last weekend at the Gulf Coast Jam solidified everything for us.”

Originally from Louisville, Hicks began his journey at Western Kentucky University where he began performing and writing songs. After moving to Nashville in 2021, he quickly became a part of the city’s songwriting community, collaborating with some of Nashville’s best songwriters and performing throughout Middle Tennessee.
