DuPont announces leadership transition | Ink World

DuPont announced that its board of directors has selected DuPont Chief Financial Officer Lori D. Koch to succeed Edward D. Breen as chief executive. Effective June 1, 2024, Breen will transition from the role of Chief Executive Officer to full-time Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. Additionally, Koch is expected to join the board at its next regularly scheduled meeting in June.

Additionally, Antonella B. Franzen, chief financial officer of DuPont Water and Conservation, has been appointed financial officer of DuPont, effective June 1, 2024.

“As DuPont executive chairman and CEO, Edbling has led the company through an important chapter of transformation and value creation. We are grateful for his leadership,” said Alexander M. Cutler, lead independent director of DuPont. Cutler said. “The board believes Lori Koch is the ideal leader for the company’s next phase and is pleased that Ed will continue to serve as her trusted partner.”

Koch has served as DuPont’s chief financial officer since February 2020.

She previously served as Director of Investor Relations for EI du Pont de Nemours and Company (EID), Global Financial Director of EID’s Performance Materials business, and Global Finance Manager for EID’s multiple businesses.

Breen has served as DuPont’s executive chairman and chief executive officer since 2020. Previously, he served as chairman and CEO of Tyco International, president of Motorola, and chairman, president and CEO of General Instruments.

Franzen has served as treasurer of the Water and Conservation Department since 2022.

Prior to Tyco International’s merger with Johnson Controls, she served in a variety of roles with increasing responsibilities at Tyco, including leading investor relations, corporate finance and external reporting. She started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
