DuPont showcases new inkjet ink series at drupa

DuPont will be promoting its new inkjet product range at the drupa booth (Hall 8B/B13). The PN 1000 Ink Series is a set of low viscosity water-based pigmented inkjet inks formulated using DuPont proprietary technology and targeted at the commercial printing sector. DuPont says it is compatible with industry standard drying technology.

DuPont has been producing Artistri ink products for the past 35 years.

Tucker Norton, global business director of DuPont Printing and Packaging, said: “We believe that Drupa 2024, as the world’s most important printing exhibition, is the perfect place to showcase the latest ink series. With the development of digital printing, we will continue to innovate and bring more sustainable Solutions to take commercial and textile printing to the next level.

DuPont will also showcase its water-based inks for printing on corrugated boxes, folding cartons and flexible packaging. These products are ideal for indirect food contact and comply with Swiss regulations and EuPIA (European Printing Ink Association) standards. Artistri water-based pigment inks for packaging printing are produced in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and in ISO 9002-2015 certified facilities.

Sustainable development is the focus of innovation in DuPont’s product portfolio. The company aims to provide more environmentally friendly products and develop safer and more sustainable products. DuPont’s recently released 2024 Sustainability Report highlights the success of DuPont scientists in replacing 2-pyrrolidone solvents in inks with safer, non-regulated alternatives while maintaining equivalent performance and shelf life.

「我們很自豪地看到這項工作支持了印刷商向消費品數位印刷的整體趨勢,並表明杜邦致力於在我們的產品組合中的關注物質方面保持領先地位,」全球品牌和杜邦Artistri 數位墨水行銷manager.

DuPont will also showcase other products from the Artistri portfolio at drupa 2024, such as P1600, a premium pigmented inkjet ink for direct-to-film (DTF) textile printing.

“In the world of textile printing, DTF technology has boomed over the past few years due to its versatility, and DTF is here to stay. The P1600 ink series is designed specifically for this technology, delivering bright images while delivering consistency and reliability security, so the printer can reduce maintenance time,” Kim added.
