EagleInk Forward Godslove Nwabude


Ypsilanti, MI (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University men’s basketball team signed God’s Love Nwabudehead coach Stan Heath Announced Thursday, May 16.

Nwabude (Ramham, MD/Mount Zion Preparatory School) is a 6-foot-9 forward with a 7-foot-4 wingspan. As a freshman entering the 2024-25 season, Embaduke has four seasons of eligibility remaining.

“We’re excited to bring Godslove here,” Heath said. “He has a high ceiling and a really good motor. He’s a high-character kid who’s very coachable. I think with his size — 6-foot-9, 230 — he can give us a run right away.” Fans will be excited to see him develop.

In addition to Missouri and West Virginia, Nwabude also has an offer from 2024 NCAA tournament-eligible Mississippi State.

Nwabude joins Dillon Tingler (Huntington, West Virginia/Huntington Express Prep) As a freshman for the Eagles. New additions to EMU in 2024-25 include Christian Henry (Chicago, IL/Atlanta, GA/Skill Factory/Panola College), Jalen Terry (Flint, MI/Beecher/Oregon/DePaul)and De’Sean Nelson (Toledo, Ohio/Robert S. Rogers/Kilgore College/DePaul).
