Cumulus names Steve Holm as Grand Rapids market manager


Cumulus Media has promoted Steve Holm to regional vice president and market manager for its Grand Rapids/Muskegon, Mich., business unit. Holm, who previously served as general sales manager for Cumulus in Dallas, is back in his home state of Michigan.

Holm’s broadcasting journey began in 2010 with WBCK and WBXX in Battle Creek, Michigan. After moving to Dallas in 2014, he held various management positions, culminating in sales supervisory roles at KTCK-AM/FM, WBAP-AM/FM and KLIF-AM since 2021.

Cumulus operates 5 stations in Grand Rapids: 105.3 Hot FM (WHTS), 1340 AM The Ticket (WJRW-AM), Q 94.5 (WKLQ), 97 LAV-FM (WLAV) and Thunder 107.3 (WTNR) in Grand Rapids The city operates 4 radio stations. V100 (WVIB) and Sunny 92.5 (WWSN).

“Over the past 10 years, Steve has proven himself to be an accomplished leader in the Dallas market, and we are pleased that he is moving back to his home state of Michigan, a country that is so important to Steve,” said Bob Walker, president of operations at Cumulus Media. “Very important to the district and his family. We are excited for him to get started and eager to see the impact he will have.”
