Mark Boelke named Entravision CFO amid executive streamlining

The global digital advertising leader and Spanish broadcaster is streamlining its executive management team as Entravision Communications moves toward the end of Meta’s authorized sales partner program.

Entravision general counsel and secretary Mark Boelke will now serve as the new treasurer and chief financial officer, and Christopher Young will exit the company. Boelke commented, “I am excited to serve as CFO and use my knowledge of the company and industry to help shape Entravision’s path forward. Boelke is currently the financial officer, and Jeff DeMartino is Entravision’s new general counsel and secretary. The company also promoted Bill McNally to chief accounting officer and corporate controller. As for the recently resigned Entravision chief digital, strategy and accountability officer Juan Saldivar, his responsibilities will now be managed by existing members of the Entravision team.

The changes come as the company focuses on revenue growth through its programmatic ad-buying platform Smadex. Entravision’s digital division continued to be a major source of revenue in the first quarter of 2024, growing 21% to $237.49 million.

Audio segment revenue fell 7% to $11.41 million. Entravision operates 45 major Spanish-language stations in the United States.

Meta’s authorized sales partner program, which ends in July, will account for 53% of Entravision’s 2023 consolidated revenue of $1.107 billion.
