NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes draw blue line for former Warriors


The 20-year-old was drafted by the Hurricanes in the fifth draftth round(139th Overall) 2023 NHL Draft. Legault spent two seasons with the Warriors, most notably the 2021-2022 season, scoring 18 points in 36 regular season games and 11 points in 11 playoff games.

The 6-foot-4 blueliner played two years of NCAA Division 1 lacrosse at Quinnipiac University, winning a national championship as a freshman. This season, Legault leads NCAA Division I skaters with a plus-minus of +36 and has 24 points in 39 games. Charles was a popular teammate in West Kelowna and was known for his long hours in the weight room.
