Hudson and Chemours sign refrigerant recycling agreement

WOODCLIFLE LAKE, N.J. — Refrigerant companies Hudson Technologies Inc. and The Chemours Co. have agreed to a licensing agreement that will allow Hudson to sell recycled refrigerants under the Freon R-11, Freon R-12, Freon R-123 and Freon names R-22 and use the Freon brand name in marketing materials related to these products.

“Hudson has a long-standing relationship with Chemours, and we are pleased to have the opportunity to use their highly regarded Freon brand to market certain traditional recycled refrigerant products in addition to our Emerald Refrigerants brand of HFC refrigerants.” Bucor Brian F.
