Eletrobras CEO Ivan Monteiro said the company will provide the necessary green energy through its hydroelectric power plants (HPP) and transmission lines to enable all parties to achieve energy transition goals.

No further details of the project were revealed.

This new MOU follows the one signed in March between Eletrobras and engineering consultant Paul Wurth do Brasil, which includes the construction and operation of a 10-MW green hydrogen and oxygen production plant.
