MIW Opens Applications for 2024 Speaker Mentoring Program


The organization Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio has announced applications are open for the 2024 Speaking Mentoring Program. This measure honors Laurie Kahn and is designed to promote the career development of women in small and medium-sized radio markets.

Last year’s recipient, Mary Zukin, senior sales and marketing executive at Iliad Media Group in Idaho, benefited from the customized support and expertise provided by the program.

Interested candidates can apply through the MIW website. Applicants must submit their entries by May 17 for a chance to receive one-year mentorship from experienced MIW executives and Media Staffing Network certified coaches.

“This mentorship is particularly special because it continues Lowry’s mission,” said MIW Board Chair Ruth Presslaff. “We are honored to have the privilege of partnering with Lisa Fields to carry this legacy forward.”

The Speak Up mentoring program provides us with one-on-one Opportunities to help people define their idea of ​​success and chart a course to achieve their goals. We are excited for year two!
