The New England Patriots and interior defensive lineman Christian Barmore have agreed to a four-year deal worth up to $92 million, his agent told ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Mike Reiss reached an agreement on contract renewal.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the deal will keep Barmore signed through the 2028 season and includes $41.8 million in guaranteed money.

Barmore’s new deal is second-largest in Patriots history behind Tom Brady, points out Doug Kidd of The Boston Herald.

Barmore is a second-round pick in 2021 and will enter the final year of his rookie contract in 2024. Chris Jones of the Kansas City Chiefs tops the list with $31.7 million.
