Tubi signs deal with DAZN for FAST sports channel, including women’s football


Fox-owned Tubi is bringing sports content to its free streaming platform through a new deal with DAZN, including women’s soccer FAST channel now available in the U.S. and Canada.

The launch, announced Wednesday, marks the first North American launch of DAZN’s free, ad-supported streaming TV channel for women’s soccer.

The DAZN women’s football channel on Tubi broadcasts 24 hours a day, providing live broadcasts and classic football matches of various events, including the European Women’s Champions League and the Saudi Women’s Super League.

The DAZN Ringside FAST channel also joins Tubo’s platform in the US, offering MMA and boxing programming from its partners Matchroom Boxing, Golden Boy, Wasserman and MF & DAZN: X Series. The channel’s content includes live undercards, pre-fight, weigh-ins, over 300 hours of boxing archives, exclusive documentaries and the DAZN Boxing Show. According to Tooby, a full roster of running backs for the world championship game will also be available once the embargo ends.

Tubi viewers in Canada can now also watch boxing and MMA matches as well as international football matches through the launch of the DAZN TV channel on the market platform. A Tubi spokesperson confirmed to StreamTV Insider that DAZN’s sports content will only be available in a linear FAST channel environment on the platform, rather than on demand.

Women’s sports continue to grow in fandom and viewership. Tubi is the latest company to get into sports through its partnership with DAZN, and the service remains the leader in US FAST based on TV time share.
