Most of the features and benefits of the Ink Business Cash card remain the same, with the biggest changes being the introduction of a limited-time relationship bonus and changes to how you earn the card bonus. In addition, cardholders are now eligible for automatic assessment of credit limit increases every six months or less.

Welcome bonus requirements

Previously, new card members could receive a $750 bonus on the Ink Business Cash card after spending $6,000 in the first three months. Now you will have more time to fulfill that requirement. With the new tiered welcome bonus, new cardholders can earn $350 cash back when they spend $3,000 in purchases within the first three months of account opening, plus $3,000 in cash back on purchases within three months of account opening (for a total of $6,000). Receive an additional $400 in cash rebate.

This gives you more time to meet the same spending requirements and the opportunity to earn some of your bonuses early. No matter how you look at it, this is a positive change.

How to use this bonus

You can redeem your rewards for gift cards, travel (booked through the Chase Travel Portal), bill points, or direct deposit. If you have a Chase credit card that supports points transfer, such as the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, you can transfer the bonuses you earn from the Ink Business Cash Card to 14 hotel and airline loyalty programs.

Bank relationship bonus

Ink Business Cash cardholders who open an account between March 17 and November 17, 2024 have the opportunity to earn bonus cash back. If you have both an Ink Business Cash card and a Chase Business checking account on your first anniversary, you’ll get a one-time 10% bonus on the cash back you earn on qualifying purchases in your first year. This means that if you earn $1,000 in cash back on purchases in your first year, you’ll receive a $100 bonus. While you need to open an Ink Business Cash card before November 17, 2024 to qualify for this offer, a Chase Business checking account only needs to be opened and activated before your first card anniversary to get 10% off bonus.
